TERMS & CONDITIONS
PLEASE NOTE THAT WHEN HIRING FROM FITZROY HIRE YOU ARE AGREEING TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Fitzroy Hire reserves the right to amend the Terms & Conditions at any time and without notice to you.

TRY ONS
Try on appointments are located at Fitzroy Terrace SA 5082 and are 30 minutes, late arrivals mean less time trying on. Please book two back-to-back appointments if you'd like to try on for longer than 30 minutes.
We understand that circumstances can happen outside of your control, however, please respect our time as we do yours and let us know ASAP if you cannot make your appointment
Try-on appointments are free of charge.
You may bring 1 person along with you to the appointment. Babies and children are welcome to attend your appointment. Please be respectful of the property, environment and garments you intend to try on , please arrive to your appointment with no fake tan, make up or any other substances that may stain or damage a garment
Try-on appointments are for 1 person. If you have a friend that would also like to try garments on, they will need to book a separate appointment.
If you stain or damage a garment during your appointment you will be required to pay the repair / cleaning fees

PAYMENTS
We accept all major cards, cash or bank transfer, we do not charge a surcharge.

COLLECTIONS & RETURNS
For all physical pick-up hires please discuss pickup and drop off dates with us directly as we are very accommodating.
Weekday hires are to be collected a day prior to your event and are due back 1-2 days after your event unless discussed otherwise, we are quite flexible.
Weekend hires are to be collected one to two days before your event.
A late fee of $20 to each consecutive day will be charged if the item is not returned at the agreed time.
The garment is to be returned in the same bag provided
For last minute bookings on the day of your hire please message to ensure we’re available for collection prior to booking your hire

DAMAGES
If a customer damages a garment, they are required to contact Fitzroy Hire via email or Instagram with pictures and a brief description.
The customer must still return the garment on time. The garment will then be thoroughly assessed and mending fees, additional dry-cleaning fees or the full RRP (not including the price you’ve paid to hire a garment) may be charged
We reserve the right to charge the consumer the recommended retail price (RRP) (not including the price you’ve paid to hire a garment) to replace the garment if it is beyond repair
If the garment can be repaired for an amount less than the RRP, we reserve the right to charge the client this value
If the garment is booked for a hire and cannot be fulfilled due to the item being damaged and the garment is unable to be replaced or repaired the customer is liable to pay for all prebooked hire fees
DO NOT ALTER GARMENTS IN ANY WAY, THIS INCLUDES SAFETY PINS, STITCHING OR APPLYING DOUBLE SIDED TAPE (Hollywood tape, fashion tape)

DEPOSITS
In store bookings
To secure a garment a $20 deposit is required. This deposit is non-refundable and will not be put down as a credit if you have a change of mind / your event gets cancelled

REFUNDS
Refunds are not permitted under any circumstances. This includes postal hires, event cancellations and change of mind
Customers who need to cancel their hire and have paid in full will receive a credit note minus a $30 admin fee with no expiry provided that 14 days’ notice prior to the event date is given
Deposits are non-refundable and will not be put down as a credit if you cancel your hire.
If the customer is uncertain of sizing, the best option would be to try on the garment prior to hiring.
Please be aware items are pre-worn and may exhibit minor imperfections that do not detract from the overall quality and aesthetic of the garment. It is the discretion of Fitzroy Hire to determine if any issues with the dress exceed acceptable standards. We do not offer refunds.

CLEANING
Fitzroy Hire fees are inclusive of basic cleaning fees
Heavily stained garments will incur an additional cleaning fee starting from $20 depending on the garment.
Customers are strictly advised not to attempt to repair or clean any damaged garment, this will be taken care of by Fitzroy Hire preferred team of repairers and dry cleaners. The customer is responsible for paying for any costs associated with repairs.

STAINS
We advise clients to be extremely mindful when using fake tanning products, makeup, drinks, stamps etc.
We recommend applying fake tan at least two days prior to your event and ensuring any residue is washed off thoroughly to avoid transferring on to garment.
We recommended spraying perfume directly onto your body prior to wearing our garment as it may stain or damage the garment.
If a stain prevents a garment from being rehired and a basic dry clean does not remove the stain, the client will be responsible for paying the full RRP of the garment
If the garment is booked for a hire and cannot be fulfilled due to the item being damaged and the garment is unable to be replaced or repaired the customer is liable to pay for all prebooked hire fees.

AUSTRALIA POST ORDERS
Postal orders require photo identification and a refundable bond charged at checkout once the garment has been returned on time in an acceptable condition, Fitzroy Hire reserves the right to decide whether the condition is acceptable. This will be refunded to your original payment method if you have posted our garment back on time at a post office and there are no stains or damaged to our item.
You will be contacted about the ID on the week of your hire prior to postage*
Failure to provide valid identification prior to the postage time will result in a cancellation of the hire and lose of the bond.
Express Shipping $30 (includes a prepaid return label) This will be provided inside of the shipping bag with your garment. Please be careful not to dispose of it.
The garment will be posted to you prior to your hire via Australia Post Express. A tracking number will also be provided
The garment must be lodged at your local post office on the next business day following your hire before 12pm. DO NOT POST IN A POST BOX. You must provide proof of lodgement via email, text or Instagram.
Failure to provide proof of a lodgement receipt will result in a late fee of $20 to each consecutive day the garment is not sent or late.
If there are any issues with your postal hire, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery.
Contacting us after your event date with any damage will incur all damage / cleaning fees to be paid for by you.
*Last Minute Orders: If a customer places an order less than 3 full business days prior to the start date of the rental order, this is considered a “Last Minute order". Fitzroy Hire does not take responsibility for any post delays caused by Australia Post. Last minute orders are not eligible for a refund (in the case of late delivery past the order start date, or failure to deliver by Australia Post). You will receive a credit note valid for 6 months. The store credit is exclusive of postage. *
These terms are set in accordance with consumer laws and ACCC guidelines regarding consumer rights and product quality.
*We do not provide refunds under any circumstances*
*We are not responsible for AUS postage delays & there will be no refunds if your parcel does not arrive on time*

LOSSES & THEFT
If the customer loses or steals a garment, they will be charged the full RRP of the item to ensure it’s replaced (RRP does not include the hire fee)
The customer accepts full responsibility for safe keeping of our garment and does not share it or hire it out to anyone else. If the customer is found sharing or hiring out our garment they will be charged a $30 fee for breach of contract

CREDITS
In the event of being offered a credit, Please note that credits are strictly for the person that's hired. Credits are non-transferrable to another person or family member.

OFFER TO PURCHASE

Minimum Offers must be a minimum of two (2) times the standard hire fee to be considered. You must submit your best offer.
No Guarantee of Acceptance
Submission of an offer does not create a binding agreement. Fitzroy Hire reserves the right to accept or reject any offer at its sole discretion. There is no guarantee any offer will be accepted. Garment availability may change at any time. Hiring the garment does not guarantee your purchase offer will be accepted.
All garments are rental items and are not sold as new. Reasonable signs of wear and tear may be present.
Approved purchases incur a $15 express shipping fee. Items will be dispatched within 3 business days of cleared payment. Risk passes to the purchaser upon dispatch.
All purchases are final. No exchanges, returns, or refunds are permitted.
